8.0.2 needs lots of space!!!???

To make sure:

In Settings - General - Software Update, you see that you should be able to update to iOS 8.0.2. You see the size of the update (more than 1 GB). You tap "Download and Install", but nothing happens.

Yes I know I can see 1.1gb size. I push the apple icon as I done 7.1 and the previous updates but this time nothing happen.

You'll have to remove one or more apps from your iPad to be able to update. There should be a link to your usage settings below the software update. When you tap it, you'll be directed to the right place to free up some space for the update. You'll be able to download these apps again afterwards.
