iPF Noob
I have an iPad 3 (or whatever it is labeled) and just want to learn more about it. My latest discovery is dictation; I am finding it is most helpful in many ways. Starting from this point forward, I am attempting to do a little dictation from my iMac rather than the iPad. My latest project in using the iPad was to dictate all the spices in my wife's cupboard. I dictated to notes on the notes app in the iPad, then emailed the notes to myself. Upon receiving the email on my iMac, I saved the email to a document and then was able to put it into my pages app. From there I put it into a chart and sorted all of the spices alphabetically. My problem with all of this is that I can not tell you how I accomplished it, it is all trial and error and seems to come out okay in the end. I find that it is quite easy to correct any errors in my dictation. I manually erase and redictate any portion of a sentence that I'm not satisfied with.
My interest in being a member of this form is to learn from what others have written. This is my first ever forum, but look forward to using it.
