Question for you guys...

Has anyone tried using only one runway? Land is costly and I really need more room for passengers, but don't have it. Not wanting to spend 20 cash on my next expansion, I'm thinking of getting rid of my second runway, leaving only one large one. Seems like it would just take longer in the mornings when you are trying to get more flights out or if there is some challenge that focuses on numbers of planes at a time.

Thoughts?

I was thinking of selling one of mine as it frees up a bit of land. I don't know if you can place houses etc. for passengers that side though unless you shift your power stations and bits to the airport side. There's no real downside to selling one as far as I can see,I think I only built 2 because it was part of a challenge.

PS - the top level of my board has 4 car dealerships, flight catering, and an unfinished hotel, all directly adjacent to each other.

I hadn't thought about it and was saving up to buy more land for hangars but with this idea I may just sell a runway and reorganize. Hmmmm..... Thanks for the thought!

I'm still having trouble finding you. What number runway do you have? My airport has a number 3 runway with a blue Hagar and a brown hangar at the top. I have a 4 runway with a blue hangar at the bottom. Below my repair station are a blue and a green hangar. There is a coal station in the very top corner of my airport. I will keep searching for you but knowing your runways would help.

Runways 3 & 5. In my airport part I have 5 hangars - red is the top one. All hangars are in queue (in order). Next to runway 5, next to runway 3 and two coal stations. One 'land' is extended. On this there are Terminal, Control Tower and Wind Turbines.
