Well today I opened my airport. Immediately I received a "you've completed the Santa's Bad Day" quest and a 2X2 building as achievement. The "Ice Hotel", gives coins every 24 hours and increases max population by 20...wow! (said sarcastically). Why no Christmas Tree giving gifts? Maybe GI has gone politically correct! No chances for me to fly to Lapland, N and S America, etc. because I had built my skating rink, and done the other requirements I am just...done. I can see on my pdxsk3 game I have not finished it, so that's how I can see what the tasks are. 19 days...so now on my main game I get to twiddle my thumbs till Valentines Day quest, unless they recycle that one too! Thank you GI for the recycled quests....not! Pdxsk2 Lvl 40 ipad / Pdxsk3 Lvl 40 iPhone - beacons, flight catering please!

I got exactly the same...seems that I've already completed the quest and hence I've been given the prize. Just need to find somewhere to put it.

If all future quests are just repeats of previous ones, this game is going to dwindle and die rather quickly.

Yeahhh! the christmast quest started ! Finally. Its the same as last year, but at that time last year, I was stuck in the game with an unfinished repair hall, and all planes broken...

I am in pdxsk's same circumstance - completed santa's bad day quest upon opening game on iPad. I will be completing on iPhone in the next few weeks also.

So - what I did do was put out four santa's houses on the upper left side of rehab (username's) city, so you all can visit and mine them for items to complete this mission faster. They are lined up right next to my other xmas quest buildings.

Of course, this only works for you if GI doesn't claim I am away from my airport for too long! Yesterday, I spent a while doing some things in airport city, and as I switched apps to a different one, I got the alert that "You have been away from your AC for a long time..." UNACCEPTABLE!!!

LtCol Rehab (may show as "username") - need Long Distance (LD) flight items like spare props, osc beacons, fuel hoses, deicers. LtColRehab2 - need LD flight items, thanks all!

Apologies to those still on this quest. I can't gift anything useful, as like several others, the quest was completed as soon as I opened the game on the iPad. I do have some Xmas buildings, if they are of any use to anyone.
