Airport City Trading Centre

One thing I noticed, while the rock quest was still on - I completed it so all gone, the drop rate was much higher. While I had done 200+ flights to Dubai with no luck with defrosters, I got 2 in 4 flights when looking for rock stuff. Same has happened for all other flights that had quest items. and now that the quest os over, flights are dropping very little.
So my advise to those who are very close to completing the quest: refrain yourself from building the arena and wait until a few hours before the end of the quest to actually complete it.
I agree - defrosters drop like crazy when I don't need them anymore. I'd build next catering facility but have no free allotment.

[...] Then it might be better to go back to pad 1 this is becoming an obsession I even had the game on my lawn mower while cutting grass , hard to see in sunlight had to find shade every now and then.[...]
Wow, Fred! You're a real iPad junkie! What about lawn - can jumbos now land there?

Hi all! Doing my nightly catch-up with this intermittent Internet connection. I only need 1 more jacket so I thank you all for your generous gifts. You can stop sending the jackets now as I hope my campground will supply the last one shortly. Everybody just send what you need and I'll return it. I will be able to get back to regular gifting in a few more days. Hope you all had a fun weekend!!! You keep me laughing every night when I do all my catching up. Love you guys!
Fannie - have a nice trip!

Yesterday I just returned gifts, sorry if I returned jackets to anyone who didn't need them. I've just dig through 60 pages of the forum and updated my list of your wishes.

@ Amanda, Borys, Vibbster, Timul & Zimterror: I'll sent you friend requests in a few hours
@ abs: do you still need sandbags?

Could anyone please tell me all about launches including coordinated launch. Just saw this in my free time. Otherwise I am going to be a bit busy and will not be able to post much.

Way to go, I still need jackets and one amp so I will probably send you one more jacket so you can return it, thanks.

hi, I could use all types of long distance items, thanks.

Ok once you have the right collection ,click on the launch pad to see what you need, then select complete at his point you have a rocket you don,t need to launch but the game will display launches already running if any. You have three option wait join one or start our own .. You need 1600 points or 2000 if on pad 2 ( green one) if you go it alone . For points etc google launch airport city and read wiki site which is good . We are planing a blue launch tonight which is easier as you need few points to join , you get 56 points using just coins alone. There is so much more I could say but google is best for the fine details

Hi abs,
Let's assume that you already built and equipped launch pad and the mission control centre.
Standard launch: first you have to gather 4 different collection needed to equip the rocket (sorry, I don't have my iPad with me, can't list them precisely). Sets needed to equip the rocket of 1st and 2nd pad share two items, differ in the remainder.
When you have them all, just tap the launch pad, collect all 4 items and then you'll be able to start your own launch or join to your neighbours' launches (if any available at the moment). Whatever you choose, the rocket will be placed on launch pad.
Procedure of preparing the launch lasts for 24 hours and requires to put 1600 (1st pad) or 2000 points (2nd pad) to start the rocket. Points are added from space items - AFAIR you already gathered few of them:

"Big" and fast items:
360 points = Powerful Explosive Bolt (1 minute)
120 points = Main Stabilizer (box WITH handle) (2 minutes)
40 points = Large Fuel Tank (2 minutes)
"Small" and slow items:
24 points = Explosive Bolt (thin one) (4 hours)
12 points = Additional Stabilizer (box WITHOUT handle) or Solid Fuel (2 hours)
6 points = Small Fuel Tank (20 minutes)
2 points = Liquid Fuel (10 minutes)

It's obvious that it's impossible to launch alone with e.g. solid fuel only, because you won't add enough points during 24 hours.
Only Solid Fuel can be produced in Solid Fuel Station, one can get other items only as a prize after gathering different space collections.

You have to calculate value of your points before making any decision whether to launch on your own or to join someone's launch. Launch procedure can fail after 24h - then you'll see sad stewardess Jane ;)
If you have 1600/2000 points, especially in big and fast items you can start your own launch. If you haven't got enough points or have only "small" items, it's better to join a launch of your friend.
Launches are visible for your neighbours, so they can join your launch without asking you. It works both ways - you can ask your neighbours (via forum or FB) for help if you launched alone and can't make it.
If you want to be sure of getting 1st place you have to add at least half of the points needed. Hijack of the launch is a situation when someone joins the launch, adds more points than the originator and wins 1st place. Hijacking is very rude unless originator clearly entreated to take 1st place.
After successful launch you have to wait 24h for lander, it will be located somewhere close to the town. 1st person (with highest number of points added) gets the golden box, 2nd and 3rd - silver, 4th to 10th - bronze, next participants gets iron box. Each box contains prizes, the more valuable box, the more valuable prizes are in it.

Coordinated launch is just standard launch on settled time (Fred starts it, as he's the leader) with condition that everyone puts in equal number of points. Original intention was to check if more than one participant can get golden box, now it's just fun.

Hope my english was good enough to clarify launch procedure. Do you still need any sandbag?

EDIT: ooops, Fred was first to explain :)

Thanks. I just need 1 dispatcher console to complete my mission control centre and open my launch pad. Just 1 question. How can points be gathered?

Thanks for taking the time to write a long answer. I may be there at your house to help you release the stress. :). Could you please explain the meaning of ''big'' and fast items and ''small'' and slow items? I still need 3 sandbags. Cant we get launch things other than solid fuel from any building?

Yours is much better :)

Both were helpful. I will check the google site.

Thanks. I just need 1 dispatcher console to complete my mission control centre and open my launch pad. Just 1 question. How can points be gathered?

It's complicated a little bit: points can be gathered through space items given after gathering different space collections - e.g.: after collecting all parts of space suit you'll get the complete uniform and a grey space box, which contain one random space item.

I'm not stressed at all :) Don't worry about my wrists - I type more than this post each day.

Each item needs time to renew option of adding it (you have to wait specified time before adding same item again). "Big" items add large amount of points at once and renew quickly, "small" items add small amount of points and renew slowly. Only solid fuel can be obtained from a building.

I'm not stressed anyway :) Don't worry about my wrists - I type more than this post each day.
