Any suggetions to increase wi fi reception?

HI all,

It was a bit frustrating this weekend, we were in a motel room and while everyone with a laptop had no problem with the somewhat weak signal, I couldnt get squat with my Ipad. I ended up sitting in the lobby to get a stronger signal. Is there any tricks to getting the signal reception up in a weak area?

First of all, welcome to the forum.

What version of the software are you running on your iPad? The latest version (not counting the iOS 4.2 beta for developers) is 3.2.2 and it resolved a lot of the WiFi reception problems. (Technically, these were addressed in 3.2.1).
