What's new

Big Business - game discussion

Yeah - also not so keen on the Hydro - considering my electricity surplus (have 1 big power plant in my storage...... - and still over 5000 free electricity)

Yeah, I missed out on the cottage cheese contest (placed, but too many meetings cost me at least 150 batches = lots of money.)

Let me see what I can do on thickener, just filled my own vessel, but 1 is cooking now, and you will get that one.

I will go for 12 meat, would like more medals..... Sadly, the building brigade cannot upgrade warehouse free of charge. But a cosmetics to level 5 is also not cheap :-)

All my challenges require an upgrade that requires about 7 million to complete. Lipstick, thickener, aluminum, water gun and cake. Only radio and electronics plants left to purchase. Where do I begin? Updating weaving and 2 sawmills currently.

I know what you mean. I spent a lot of time to gather 10 million to level up most of my factories to level 5:eek:

I still need to purchase the radio & electronics plants:rolleyes:

I hope to be able to produce thickener soon, in about 8 hrs.:D

Keep on going, there is light at the end of the tunnel:D

SEEKING SAGE ADVICE

Dear friends, please help me find the best/shortest route to the waterfall:

1. Along the beach, starting with the tile closest to the waterfall then eventually buying the tile adjacent to the bridge
2. Going west (NW)
3. Going south (SW)
4. Other??

From your map. Looks like NW

Go for some more silver medals, and do a part of it. That will improve your situation with the port, enabling you to get more city credit and faster access to the big power plant.

I have
5 farms, level 5.
3 milling plants: 4, 5 and 5
4 paper mills: 3, 4, 5 and 5
7 ranches: 3*3, 3*4 and 1*5
6 dairy: 2, 3, 3, 4, 5 and 5
5 confectionaries: 4*4 and 1*5
My bakery is level 2
Pharmacy level 1
2 oil refinaries at level 5 and 4
2 chemicals at 2 and 5
Radio at level 2
Cosmetics at level 3
Furniture at level 4
Toy at level 4
Food at level 5
Weaving at level 5
Sawmill level 5

So, do it in at least 2 steps, get the radio factory, first buy and then upgrade, that solves your components issue, and then upgrade what else you can simultaneously. Don't wait too long, it is a good investment of your gold.

You have plenty of factories to ensure you get silver medals. It saves a lot of time. When I get the bridge, I will do some upgrades as well, training a radio electrician now.

Just my 10 cents....

Let me ask again, has anyone ever tried to buy a premium building like the one we are offered today (NOT a premium building in the shop) using a discount card?

I appreciate the input. I don't have enough money for an upgrade because I went after meat after all. Will have 23 by the time I stop producing. I think I will do the aluminum and buy the radio factory. Plan may change again and again and again.

I don't have a discount card. But check yours, I think mine had said something in the wording about the discount works for any building in the shop. Meaning not from an offer. Sorry

No, it says that bonuses don't stack.

However, I vaguely recall trying to purchase a similar item with a bonus card in the past. It did not work. Maybe that building was already discounted or something, I just don't remember. They could also change the rules since then. Can you cancel your action after tapping a bonus card? I don't think you can but I am not 100% positive.

I canceled one before. I clicked the USE button then went shopping. I tried to buy a building but needed to upgrade the admin building. Bottom right was an X button to cancel the use of the card.

So... don't waste your time with buying luck with city credits to help you get "Rulers" for the Power Plant. I spent the 25 city credits for the 90% increase in "Luck" and got exactly 0 "Rulers"

That is right 0, none, nada, zip, zilch...

So don't waste your time and city credits. Right now i'm thinking it is impossible to get past this step at this time or there is some really complex set of actions you have to obtain before they will drop at all.

I used the card and yes, it said "to shop." I tapped the x then opened the roller coaster window. And it worked! I bought the roller coaster at a 15% discount.
