Big Business - game discussion

Gab, thank you for your advice. I will think about contacting BoA, although I seriously doubt they will be willing to help. First I will have to print out all my iTunes receipts because I was making in-app purchases in more than one game.

Anyway, I decided to spend the remaining credits on the Capitol. I used one of my 15% discount cards and got it for 86 credits. Still have 6 left.
I did it out of sheer patriotism lol. That was a fitting conclusion to my spending spree.
I am not buying city credits, I am not even tempted.

It's such a shame as it was a great game and I still don't understand the logic of screwing it up. Maybe sense will prevail?

The goal is the same: to seduce/force players to buy more and more city credits if they want to progress. They don't care about us veterans, they already got our money. They think, well, they are hooked, they will get over it. If some quit, so be it. We milked them dry already. The new/ newer players, the wide-eyed enthusiasts, are the real target. They will accept the rules because they don't know better.
The latest "fine tuning" with the hp requirements being relaxed a tad is a classic trick employed by the experienced salesmen, and it is obvious to anyone paying attention.
Imagine you enter a clothing department and tell a salesman you need a new suit. He will show you some very expensive stuff. You are shocked. Then he will show you something more "affordable." In comparison. You would've never even considered buying this one before because it is still expensive but now you think you are getting a bargain because the previous one cost double. After you agree to buy the suit the salesperson will easily talk you into buying shirts and neckties because their price will seem negligible compared to the suit and yeah, you could always use a new shirt. That is how it works, folks. You enter the shop thinking of buying a $100 suit and end up spending $300 on suit and stuff and thinking you got a good deal.

Oh yeah - think of this one:

You can buy 6.000 HP for 100 credit. To reach the extra million, you would a bit over 160 of those buildings. That is 16.000 city credits to move on. With the current double promotion on credits, that is still way above 1.000 USD - doubt anyone in this forum would go for that one. Then, you can do it by collecting them in the port. Maks 3 per day + 3 per week for facebook. That is 25 per week. That is well above 10 years. Why would I play?

I spent credits for the bells to reach the WhiteHouse! Yes, i did it again.
I gave my credits and the number of collected and paid bells goes to: Z E R O !!!! NO WHITE HOUSE for me! yeaahhh
Why can´t this game run normally. I contacted GI support. I will see what happens.
Many of you have much worse with BB. I really admire Arcadia (who has managed to stop playing this game).
Thanks for filling my containers.
@Keldubay: Filled your container with purses. :) In real life i would never ever give one of my bags away :D

Claire, I am honored!

I hope a lot of players will not buy into the x2 on the bank and the new building...GI refuses to listen to the complaints about the population, maybe cutting into their profits will send them a message...as everyone else stated, the population is impossible to attain to build a new factory so what is the point in buying buildings with population that won't get you anywhere near what you need...so disappointed as at the old population this would have gotten me what I needed for the next level....oh we'll...saving me a lot of money and has broken my habit...so for that I thank you GI as I will spend my money elsewhere.

GI Sucks!

I posted this yesterday, but am wondering if a few people would weigh in before I sell these items that take a long time to make.

What ISN'T being asked for at the port?
I have never seen, but have in my warehouse: starch, pet food, advertising posters, armchairs, thread, construction kits, nightstands, pillows, books, spices, marble, lasagna, cacao beans, coconuts and cocoflakes, and granite. Has anyone seen these on ships, or can I sell them off?

I see night stands and lasagne but only on lower level players, maybe <40. I see coconut flakes regularly, but the items that take 6 hours from multiple ingredients never

OMG!!! My pop requirement for my next building went from 331,000 down to 280,000!!! Wow. I was able to buy two buildings. I thought after I got my cosmetics factory the pop requirement would go to 1million but I guess all the complaining helped. I was about to give up this game. Now I am back in!!!

Does anybody know what the item is showing in the VIP containers in the image below and what building produces it?

I think it is cream. Click on it and try to fill it (even if you have none) and it will tell you it is and where to produce it. I do not have this factory, myself, and guess that i will never, as i need 450,000 more population.....

Thanks! Didnt realise it told you what it was if it was clicked. Doh! And yes, you are spot on, it's cream from the milk shop which is a premium building not currently available. So a completely pointless VIP crate then ;-)
One assumes the game builders think this will incentivise players to buy all the factories. Not with the happiness/population changes that have taken place we won't!

DOH!!! My first fat finger... 45 credits for a square of land.

Oh man that's awful not even on sale

Side note, I'm in Boston today, any players playing from here?

Next week I am going back to San Diego again.

Gotta love criss crossing our great country
