[GAB IV]

Mine are about half and half between regular items and items from specialty shop. However, the items from specialty shops are usually the ones that take the longest to make, like 6+ hours so even when I do have the shop, I don't have enough time to make 3 of the item. Unless I had them saved up in storage, I would never be able to make them in time.

I agree meg, so I keep two of the long items in the WH. That way when it's called for all I need to do is make one more. Saving 3 of everything requires lots of WH space. So does 2 but its manageable. I have 3 latex ( for balloons), 3 because latex takes 12 hrs, two trains, two blocks etc.

GRAND OPENING! The Port of Podunk Printing Office is now open for some of your printing needs. After spending millions on new baseball fields, upgrading Admin building and upgrading Solar Plants, spending all city credits on Biker Club, and rubies on another Golf Club, Podunk now has limited printing service. Need more $ to upgrade it but let us know if you are in need of any printing service. Will have it upgraded soon as possible.

I suppose it's nice to have, however, if I had population to to build another industrial building it would be one of the basics. Because I could get a lot more use out of a basic starter item than a fancy item producer. Unless I could put it in storage, I won't increase my pop for it. It was nice just to have a mission to accomplish, even though the prize was unattainable.

So how is everyone doing on the Port upgrade? I'm 16 bronze away from the first upgrade. Anyone know what the upgrade targets are for the second upgrade? And who has got the furthest, anyone nearing or completed the second upgrade?

Gab IV, I wouldn't have bothered either but I needed the pop anyway and the contest kept me motivated and I made good gold so all in all it wasn't so bad even if my ticket is unsuccessful.

I used to do the same with 2 of each item, but kept getting the bonus for these long items on the vip 4 itm side as much as the 3, so i started stocking 3 of the longest timed items and 2 of the 2-3 hour items. I also try to store a couple of the long time big ticket items, but they seem to ask for them 2-3 times in a row- lipstick, thickener, and components. Had thickener 4 times in a row- with a double row once, followed by 3 components in a row with a middle row, of aluminum, 2 more sets of thickener and now on second lipstick in a row. I sure wish the big ticket item switched every trip! Btw- i gave away 5 water guns to friends yesterday and a bunch of ore..... Today was ore and bonus of water guns! Ha! Funny gi! That always happens!

Thanks friends for the help. The friends on this forum are the main reason i still play! If I had one more plant, it would be a second oil refinery.

Has anyone else had this "Mysterious Stranger" turn up, wanting 1,000,000 coins in exchange for 10 credits? Wanders around for 24 hours, seems to have started at the same time as I began the last task (3 competition medals, paid gifts from friends under level 11) for completing the road bridge, but doesn't seem to be integral to actually completing the bridge?
