New update fixed the turkey cafe from crashing....
Ouch. They always fix the wrong glitches.
I hope they fixed the incessant alarm too. Summerville is chock full of sick arsonists so the alarm goes off every 30-40 seconds.

So - two new achievements have appeared: Master of the Ice Castle (build one...) and Smooth Surfaces Fan (upgrade it to level 3...). Looks like GI might be on time with the Christmas Challenge, after the very late start with the Thanksgiving one!

Hi Everyone,
Hopefully you can help me with an issue I've been having. I've already tried resolving this with GI game support and it's been just constant hair pulling for a month.
I'm posting here because this feels like the most comprehensive gathering of fellow players of the game but I should start by saying I play the Android version of this game (I couldn't find an android BB forum).
I'm trying to complete the river bridge quest and I'm stuck on the task where I need to get 8 "Operator Business Cards" The hint says complete daily tasks but I've been stuck on this for over a month now with zero progress and my game is up to date. GI has basically told me that they cannot tell me the game mechanics and to basically bugger off. I can't even get a straight answer as to what defines a daily task so I don't even know if I'm on the right track.
If anyone can provide any insight to this, I'd greatly appreciate it!!

The daily tasks are the short and long task to make products which you probably already know. I remember the reward actually had a picture of the "business card" and was usually on either the short or long task but not both. Game Insight is not very helpful and you have to just keep bugging them sending screen shots etc. When I first started playing the quarry kept shutting down on me so I could not make the items needed for the Eiffel Tower. It took me about six weeks of daily complaining and finally they acknowledged it was a programming error and then it took another month to get the update to fix it. It could be something like that for your game. So I would screen shot the daily tasks everyday and send to them. Keep that up and see if it helps. Good luck!

Are the daily tasks like the ones where you click on a pop of a citizen and says you have to make, for example, 10 leather in 2 hours? I actually don't get those any more. Would the ones where you're supposed to respond to fire or medics count too?
I'll try and keep sending as much screen shots as I can to GI, though I'll be surprised if they actually do anything to resolve it. It has to be a technical issue with the game because I've been stuck on it for over a month!

The daily tasks are two tasks that give you coins for completion. The long one and the short one. The fire and medics don't count as daily tasks. You will get business cards after finishing SOME of these tasks, if you are lucky. When I was doing that quest I got only one card after doing a number of daily tasks so I just bought the remainder to be able to complete the quest in time and get the reward. Remember, it is all about money with Game Insight. They will just tell you to "keep playing" until you get sick and tired of your "bad luck" and buy stuff.

Yes, those are the ones I'm talking about. You may have turned something off in your settings if you don't get them any more. Play with your settings and see if that is what it is. If not, then absolutely a technical issue.
