Have you tried force closing the game and going back in? Look for the exp to John/Alex/Emma/Kate, pick that up then look for the one with an arrow. If you don't have the right one in stock then force close the game and reopen. This is how I have worked mine all day with good results.

I am on the hearts now and finding that all the hearts you need Kate but you can't get her directly. You need to get John then Kate to the the heart. I am about to give up.

Hi everyone, I'm new here. Scooter, I'm on the hearts too--you can get Kate by herself, but if she doesn't show up, just visit a friend and then come back to your city. The hearts will refresh, and you can usually find Kate wandering around. Sometimes I'll trade John for Kate, then get the heart, but I'm trying to maximize the energy usage.

Gotta add my signature, but my player name is Sofia55 and my city name is There. Level 53, active port, and in the Madmillion corporation.

Well, one thing about this challenge, you end up finding a bunch of broken gears for the research center.
Haven't had a broken glass in weeks. weird.

I have finally gotten a few Kate's by herself. I am just completely bored with this game. Why couldn't they have changed this V-day challenge. Or at least give us different buildings. The population on these sucks so really not much incentive to get them finished.

Has anyone been able to figure out how this Valentines event works? I keep swapping different love letters from different people but can't seem to figure out where that ends up. None of my citizens are giving me any of the items needed to build the three required buildings. All the citizens are offering is the card swap. Am I missing something? EDIT: Ok I think I figured part of it out at least. Looks like we get a card from Alex then trade it for a card from Emma which trades for a card from John which finally trades for a Love Arrow. And we need 300 of these arrows to build the Post Office. What. The. Heck?! This will take like 12787282893827823 years to complete. EDIT#2: I was able to find one solitary citizen who gave me a letter from John, which I traded for an Arrow. So, there might be some out there that will let us skip a few steps, but those I'm sure will be few and far between. I also noticed some backwards swaps so people be careful about what card you are receiving in return.

There are more direct routes. I find closing the app and restarting gives me more options. You should be able to collect a card and change for arrow without any other exchanges in between. I only figured it out towards the end of the event last year so hope it helps some of you this time round city - Squillion square player name amanda35

wait for 20 energy points then star planning the moves. Best if you remember were all the trades are that gives you the prize.

You might not be surprised to hear that is exactly what happened. While playing Airport City I got beyond frustrated with GI and that picture was the result. Don't ask why I ended up playing another GI game, I must be nuts.
