Thank you! And what do you end up with as the happiness level? I might be able to get to the first upgrade but the second one is probably out of reach. 60 each is nuts!

I agree it is nuts! Final happiness is 7500. I put in a module so it will be 8250. Worth trying for and you might be able to finish next valentines! Good luck!

Wow! That is a whole lotta effort for just an extra 2800 happiness! And I see that there is no order now on what items I get either. Looks like the hearts/arrows/cupids are all mixed up now. So, after I collect all the required hearts, I will have to keep refreshing the game until I get 'Mike' to give me the part I need. Really not worth the effort at all. I will probably just collect as and when I can and settle for whatever part I can get. I can make up that 2800 happiness with just an extra ball field or something.
Yet another fail from GI ...

You can collect hearts, arrows, cupids at same time. Not one after the other as you said.

What I actually meant was that all the items were all mixed up now instead of one at a time like in the initial construction. So, say I finish collecting all the 30 hearts needed - I might still get hearts from Mike even thought I don't need them (at least not until the second level). So, it will end up with more game refresh steps. I'm sure I will need the hearts for the second level, but I'd rather finish one completely before the event ends. Now, if the game realizes that I don't need any more hearts and Mike would only offer the parts I need, that would be great. But that is giving GI too much credit I feel
It looking like I'm going to struggle just to barely get to level 2 before the event expires. Needless to say, I am quite disinterested in spending a whole lot of time collecting the missing pieces now that the initial building is complete. Such a pain in the hiney it is!

New building (Pet Shop) just released for completing production tasks. It is actually a factory this time instead of an entertainment building. I wonder if it worth getting since it will add to the population requirement over and above the production chores. Decisions decisions...

The pet shop is a great money maker. Mine runs all the time. Since I have one I will be passing up this contest. Thanks GI for the "NEW" building. LOL since I purchased it months ago.

Thanks for the info, Judy! Looks like I will spending the better part of the next couple of days producing packaging, herbs and milk! I could always use another money maker in the city
EDIT: Isn't this the second building that was originally sold for CC and is now being released as part of a reward? That would make me livid if I spent CC on buildings only to see them for 'free' down the road. Guess I will try to stay away from spending any CC on buildings and just wait for a few months for them to be released in an event

Yeah. I have not bought any type of buildings for a long time. I have a nice stock pile of cc's. my game playing is hit and miss. I still play everyday but not into the game. They gave up corp which could have been a great idea if they gave us goals we could actually reach. Buy yet again it is an epic fail on GI. So what is the point of the corp?Thanks for the info, Judy! GI really did mess up this Corp concept massively! It was a wonderful idea and would really have drummed out quite a bit of interest in the game and led to some of the more dormant players getting back into it. But alas, their ineptness and greed took over. And whatever happened to those individual tasks that were to be assigned to members of the corp? So far, we have only seen common team tasks which we can all agree are impossible, unless you are a certain few players

Has anyone else gotten VIP containers asking for items that cannot be produced, because no such factory exists? I've had several. When I tap on it to see what factory is needed, it says something like "This factory does not exist, stay tuned". Pretty frustrating to try to fill a ship when some containers cannot possibly be completed. 
On a positive note, I'm glad that someone said the Pet Store is a good money maker--I started working on it before I looked close enough to see that it wasn't an entertainment building, lol! A little annoyed that I'll need to up my population an additional level to add a second chemical plant, but whatever.
I've got a full warehouse of goodies (except for cosmetics, don't have that factory yet), if anyone needs anything. I check friends' ports quite often and fill where I can.

I have been getting bronze pieces and no glass shards. I was hoping with the update I would get a few glass shards but nope. Has anyone gotten what the haven't been getting? If that makes sense?

All I've seen for the past several months have been bronze pieces. Can't even remember the last time I saw a piece of glass.
