Well, one thing about this challenge, you end up finding a bunch of broken gears for the research center.
Haven't had a broken glass in weeks. weird.
Does anyone else see chocolate bats instead of broken gears?

Anyone getting this screen. I open apps and go to bb but nothing tells me my game needs updated except inside bb. Anyone know what I can do to resolve this besides opening a ticket which I will do but not if I don't have to

It isn't luck! GI yet again changed the drops a few updates ago. Since then I haven't gotten glass shards. Luck my foot.

Try restarting your device then look in the App Store for an update.

They thank me for my comments and will pass them on to the game designers. Maybe if enough of us complain they might do something.
If you do raise a ticket, don't leave it when they say it is down to luck.

I did that but to no avail, but now it is updating. I just left my game for the rest of today after the restart and came back tonight and poof I can update. Go figure. No idea what happened etc. Ignoring the game seems to work lol.
On another nite, just finished the gold beams for the tower which took forever and one last set of task to finish it.

10 medals for only 1,200 happiness is low to me. When they're offered, you should be able to buy entertainment buildings for around 12 medals that bring 3-4 times the happiness level, iirc.

I try to break things down so I can make comparisons. In this case I would divide what I get (1,200 happiness) by the cost (10 medals) which gives me 120:1.
Now, if I can buy an entertainment building at some point that gives me 4,400 happiness for 12 medals that gives me a ratio of 366:1. Much more appealing.
I use the same approach when evaluating a building's happiness for the amount of electricity it consumes. A good reason to dump some of the low-level entertainment buildings, especially if you have limited building opportunity because of your administration building level.

Drill on it's way, Training 15 Engineers seems to take forever, but not as bad as collecting 2500 energy's
