I am having a problem sending photos by bluetooth from a Nokia E71' although I don't see why the phone make should be important. The devices are already paired. In the phone I just get "sending failed" and on the IPAd it just says "not connected" all the time. Any help or guidance would be most appreciated.

Cannot be done at this time direct

send picts to computer from Nokia and place in photo.s folder then sync to iPad

Bluetooth is only for external devices like car systems, head sets , speakers

That's strange

I've been sending photosmfrom my phone, and I have an old moto q

It gives and error message, but it's not relivant because it works

I can send them from my phone and my iPad to one another?

Guess I'm just lucky? Lol

Nope, iPad doesn't have that capability. apple restricted the bluetooth for security reasons and its only used for bluetooth headsets.

Re Bluetooth Connectivity

Thanks to all for replies. I really should read the manual before bothering the forum. Many thanks.

Bluetooth conectivity problem

This is my first question in this group. I was looking at the discussion about Bluetooth conectivity issue to transfer photos and now I'm able to understand why I was not getting to connect the ipad with my smart phone (Nokia E71) via bluetooth in order to have Internet access. It seems I will not be able to use the Smart phone as a Modem to the ipad via Bluetooth and the ipad has no Infrared access, so, I'm stuck with this problem.

I heard of an application that can make the Smart phone a Wifi spot. Does anyone have any tip about it ? Any experience ?

Thanks
