Camera Connection Kit & iPad3: Still Won't Work

Hello,

Thought a new Post would be best for this.
Have an iPad3, and bought the Camera Connection Kit.

Have a bunch of Photos (apparently via IrfanView) and videos in a Class 4 SDHC card.

Per previous Post and suggestions, have put everything in a single Folder on the Card, and
labeled it DCIM.

Still won't see anything on card. I understand the need for reformatting all my videos, but I would think that it
would at least see the Photos.

Is having them in IrfanView O.K. ?

It does, apparently, see the card, but says something like: No photos to import.

Per previous Post, it should now work with everything in a DCIM Folder. Or, at least the Photos I would think ?


Can't help but feel I do not have something configured, or perhaps some "permission" not set right.

Any thoughts would be most appreciated.

iPad requires (dumb requirement) that photo names be exactly 8 digits with a 3 digit extension - abcdefgh.jpg
If you have renamed the photos, only the ones with an 8 digit name will be recognized.
The camera kit works fine with my iPad 3.
