Well, I would suggest: 1) Go into 'Settings' -> Safari and clear your history and cookies; or 2) If first not successful, 'force close' Safari (I'm assuming that is the browser you are using), i.e. double tap the home button, then find the Safari icon; tap & hold until it 'jiggles' press the small minus sign; return to the home screen, reopen the browser and see if that helps.
If neither of the above solves your problem, then 'Restart' or if not successful 'Reset' the iPad - directions HERE - good luck and please post back if you are still having troubles!
