Deleted Mobile Substrate, Stuck at Apple Logo!

Please help! As the title says, I deleted the Mobile Substrate in the iPad thinking that it would be unjailbroken that way, but instead it just got stuck in the Apple Logo.
I don't want to restore it just yet. I want to get the pictures from it first. No, I did not Back it up, and it's not my iPad. THIS IS URGENT! Thanks.

Well, sorry, but there really is nothing you can do, what with Mobile Substrate deleted. It comes with the ability to put the iPad into Safe Mode (so you can at least get it running to get to your pictures). Unfortunately, you deleting it has removed that option.

If you plug it into the computer, even if it's showing the Apple logo, can you still browse to the iPad drive using Finder or Windows Explorer? Cause, if you can, you can get to the pictures that way.

If you can't get to it that way, then I'm afraid you are going to have to restore. If its an iPad1, you can restore iOS 5.1.1 [only] and thus jail break it. If its anything newer, I'm afraid you will have to restore to iOS 6.1.3 and lost the jail break.

I read something about an emergency SSH to the iPad, but I kinda didn't get it that much... is it recommended to use that method?
