Disability help w/ ipad

Hi I'm kind of new to posting. I have a apple iPhone, iMac computer, and I also have the first generation iPad. I am looking to this forum to help me get better in syncing all of these together.
I am ready to purchase the iPad 2 and with that I am giving my old iPad to my daughter. I have found that it will help her stay connected (she is blind). I recently heard about Voice Over for the disabled and wondered if there was a remote app that I could use to help her alone. She lives in Ohio and I live in Washington.

Hi there and welcome.

Well until I just delved into the accessibility app I didn't realise how much help is built in, I notice that there is a setting for connecting a Braille device as well. I'm not certain there is a remote app in the way that you are thinking but of course I am definitely no expert. I would suggest contacting Apple, if there is an Apple store near you then I'm certain that they will be able to offer help and advice.

There is lots of good advice and info on here plus plenty of members all too willing to help with any problems.
