This may be a dumb theory but has anyone bred any of the rare dragons without the breeding cave on the first island? Thinking about it I haven't bred anything rare since I moved my breeding cave to my third island. I just checked everyone on my friends list and I believe all with a rainbow, sun or moon have them on the first island. I did read all the rare dragon egg descriptions again and the word "first" is in the 3 of them. Probably doesn't mean anything but I feel the need to rule it out. If your having problems with breeding these dragons where is your breeding cave? Thoughts anyone? I'd love to rule this theory in or out. Still going crazy with no luck yet.

When I moved my breeding cave on the third island I got my rainbow and then moon. Hope this helps

I'm having a dickens of a time getting the sandstorm and rainbow dragon also something about gifting. I gave out gems to all the ppl on my list yesterday 3x. How? Visit a random player and then goto friends. You can do 3 more and then go home and visit another random player to give 3 more. rinse and repeat and you'll be able to get everyone on your list. I think this is the devs way of getting us to see what other ppl are doing by visiting their islands. It would be nice if we could just use a gift all button. Yea that would be the ticket

I am having trouble getting sandstorm I'm trying lev 10 air then lev 10 mud I can't seem to get it err frustrated.... When I gift the 3 I go visit random player then go back home and it will not let me gift anymore just 3 a day. Does anyone have advice for me

Finally I got48 hour breeding time.... I actually used sandstorm and flower. What do u guys think I'm getting???

When I moved my breeding cave on the third island I got my rainbow and then moon. Hope this helps

I have done some changes, I have the breedingcave, the nest, the , the farms and the rare dragons habitat on the 2nd Island, everything Else on the other two. When I removed boosts fr.o.m. The 2nd Island I've got sun, and now when i moved, the rainbow. Hunting for moon now!!

Hi all, first of all thank u for excepting my friends request in GC. I saw a new player for Dragon Vale, so I made this breeding list. I' ve all the info from this forum from the first page until now, I also got it from other forum. this is the list

Fire + Earth = Lava
Fire + Earth = Bone ( October 2011)
Fire + Plant = Flower
Plant + Fire = poison
Earth + Plant = Moss
Plant + Earth = Tree
Lightning + Fire = Firefly
Lightning + Poison = Firefly
Cold + Earth = Mountain
Lightning + Earth = Quake
Cold + Lightning = Storm
Fire + water = Air
Cold + water = Ice
Plant + water = Swamp
Air + Plant = Willow
Earth + water = Mud
Lightning + Air = Sonic

Tips : Some people are very lucky to breed them in one try, some can try several times. Some not using Boost building they say will increase possiblelities and some also said to put the flag and breed them in the right time. there also a trick that to breed rainbow you should put rainbow habitat in one island alone.

All the information above is a conclusion, I didn' t get them by my self, information source from iPF forum and google (other forum)

Me my self still struggle with rainbow dragon hahahahaha

Great. I decided to give his theory a try. I'm working on it now. Think I have the first firefly breeding. I'll keep you posted. Hoping it doesn't take too long.

Ugh I tried crystal + blue fire for like more than a week now. I got nothing. I even used my second crystal to breed instead of the first one.
Also just tried blazing and crystal and nothing.
I did seaweed and firefly for a few weeks and nothing.
Sonic and storm and nothing.
Iam not getting any of these rares. It takes some of you only a few days to get one, I been at this for a month now. All I got was blue fire.

I'm still having the same problem too. I'm trying the gene theory to see if it works. Don't give up. I notice a lot of us are having this problem but it seems almost daily someone posts they finally got the 48 hrs. It sure is frustrating tho

Sun Dragon

I probably just got a sun dragon egg (yellow-orange with a sun emblem) the breeding time was 48 hours and same for hatching time. I am level 20 have all gold medals, 3 islands, still missing the blue fire and moon dragon, never got the bone dragon T-T and i have the breeding cave on my third island. I was trying for the blue fire dragon with a lot of different combinations and got the sun dragon egg with firefly and cold, I thought it was a rainbow at first cause of the 48 hours breeding time. I guess i was just plain lucky with the sun dragon and I am still trying for that blue fire...

Your welcome Cool. Can't wait to see what it is but I think I read somewhere that combo produced a rainbow. I will do. The first firefly is in the nursery now. Got it second try. Just started step 2. First try and got 5 hrs so I'm hoping it's a seaweed. If it's a storm I will scream lol. Atleast I'm to level 20 and stocking up on food so I can level 10 them immediately without having to wait. Crossing my fingers....

Here's a thought I had. With all the lvl 20s out there and more updates coming I'm sure. I'm noticing most of us have millions in coins. I saw 1 player with 210 million. So I'm wonders how much some shop items may be when they do updates. I mean I just don't want it so EASY to obtain. I like to work and achieve goals. In fact we need more goals. Any thoughts?
