Has anyone bred a moon dragon using a combo other than sonic and storm?

It's the only one I have left to get, but have tried it 30+ times now.
Shavers, you said crystal and blue fire? I've tried that too a bit but that's even more frustrating because I keep getting crystals.

I got all of my other hard ones quite quickly, this one is driving me nuts. And I can't seem to get a second blue fire or second rainbow either

Well that's stupid. If the devs wante that to be a requirement, then why did they allow the rainbows to be bred? There is NO way I'm spending $100 or more for dragons I already have. Looks like I just won't have the achievement then.

Yes I strongly agree. To be honest with u, my iPhone was jb recently. Before jb when I juz started playing DV, I only bought gems to hurry breeding/hatching. I wouldn't spend tat 5k gems (which is > usd$100) juz to get double rainbow achievement too. Tat is really too much! =o but let's juz hope it's a bug coz it's really ridiculous I find. =/

I feel sorry for whoever believes this, me and my wife got the double rainbow achievement by breeding 2 rainbows and anyone who even tries to buy two rainbow dragons has gone coo coo. So remember you DO NOT have to buy rainbows for that achievement.

Ok, maybe i wasn't making myself clear enough. BEFORE I purchase tat 2 rainbow, I already breeded & had 2 rainbows but tat achievement wasn't given to me. Then I sell off tat 2rainbow dragons which I have got from breeding & I bought 2 rainbow from market & then I got tat achievement. But I hope it is as wat Brooklyn had explained, so tat everyone can get this achievement without spending so much real cash.

Just tried this combo and got yet another 24hr breed time. Ugh!! I'm tired of Crystals slowing down my breeding shots!

This may be a dumb theory but has anyone bred any of the rare dragons without the breeding cave on the first island? Thinking about it I haven't bred anything rare since I moved my breeding cave to my third island. I just checked everyone on my friends list and I believe all with a rainbow, sun or moon have them on the first island. I did read all the rare dragon egg descriptions again and the word "first" is in the 3 of them. Probably doesn't mean anything but I feel the need to rule it out. If your having problems with breeding these dragons where is your breeding cave? Thoughts anyone? I'd love to rule this theory in or out. Still going crazy with no luck yet.

Yaaaaaaaaaay!!!! Finally!!!! I'm breeding a rare dragon, dunno which one yet lol but it doesn't matter a bit because I don't have any yet lol.
The crystal and blazing dragon are breeding right now, so as far as I know that's gonna be either a sun or a rainbow dragon
I'm so happy!!! Been trying for so long! Thanks everyone for your tips! I think what made it work (had to try about 5 times) was the fact of using 'new' bred dragons, so my second blazing and my second crystal dragon.
Two days is gonna seem so long now hehehehe, but well worth the wait

Were you using Sonic+Storm or Storm+Sonic? Cause I've found that the order makes a difference. I tried like 50 times fore Blue Fire with Fire+Ice but when I switched to Ice+Fire I got it Second try. I used Sonic+Storm for all my rares except 1 rainbow and 1 sun. It definitely takes time because you have a 1% chance of rainbow so 99 out of 100 times it'll be something different.
