BTW: I just gave in and bought some gems (2 lots of 50 for a better deal! *grin*) and so my epic breeding island is on it's way! I always knew I'd cave, hehe. Upgraded my nursery (from 2 to 3) while I was in the gem spending frame of mind, LOL.

I've had two days of wins with 5 gems in the colosseum plus some extra from friends - up to 34 now so I'm going to try to hang out until I at least only need 50 gems. Have spent just over $20 already so I should be a little more patient this time!

When I look at my friends list in DragonVale, there are numbers (within circles) underneath/to the left of each name....so, maybe I am missing something obvious, but I cant work out what the numbers refer to Does anyone know?

I sooooo miss my $170 mil dragoncash and 950,000 food. It was fun to level up quickly but now i feel broke! I'm quite sure it won't take too long to get myself back up there and, considering I didn't have anything to spend it on before anyway, I should just be quiet now and go check to see if my gems are ready to gift

Thanks, I've actually been sleeping much better recently so it hasn't hit me as badly as it would have even a few weeks ago (Got 2 kids and the 15 month old has only recently started sleeping through the night. My 3 year old was the one keeping us awake last night though!). Sorry to hear you're sufferring from a bit a sleep deprivation too.

Oh I'm sure it is worth it. I'll ask though, would you like me to keep gifting you gems as well or would you rather stick with the list you have?

That's good that the 15 month old is sleeping better! I remember those days all too well. I have a 13 month old grand daughter and a 4 year old son so I can really relate to those ages again.

It's really up to you. If you want to you will get them back but if you can get them back quicker another way then do it. Once you get some friends that send like I do you should be doing better and them as well.

I know from everything I've seen NZ is a beautiful place. :thumbs:

I know the feeling but it's part of the game and now all we can do is save up gold to make more food and as I always say to Breed on!!!

Thanks so much! Yeh, it is. I was getting frustrated but not too bad. With all the new stuff in the update and thinking how I'm gonna accomplish it I feel more patient now for some reason. I know that doesn't make sense but I was getting close to having everything and I'd rather not finish that fast lol

Haha, yeah it was just too hard to resist. I don't think I'm as eager as some of you to reach most of the goals etc but I'm REALLY looking forward to breeding a Rainbow and a Moon so this particular gem spend was almost inevitable I guess (I'll keep telling myself that). I don't use many gems for anything else though (though I did cave and used a few to get my first 48 hour breeding finished a little early just to see the egg and know what I managed to get)...I'm actually kinda stingy with them because I always think there'll be something else I want more later (apparently like an epic breeding island!!)

Thanks! I do too, hehe. I figured it was an easy way to give that info to anyone who is curious or looking for successful combos to try themselves, without having to re-type it all the time (helps me remember too!).
Oh man, I dont know if you've looked at my park recently but wow is it a mess! Actually my breeding/incubating/farming/quiet island is almost done again now (moved everything so it would be the one joined to the epic breeding island) but for a while there every island looked like a toddler had been let loose to wreck havoc. I'm actually even happier with my new 'quiet' island now I think. *squee*

(It is so much work though - my wrist and shoulder actually ache a fair bit. It takes ages too...I really wish there was a mass move option. In between child wrangling and dragon park reorganising I'm not getting anything else done, hehe. This post has taken me forever to write!)

hehe, I agree with this, I definitely find it hard to part with great wads of cash or gems especially once I get to a certain amount. For example, right now 20 million is the amount I really dont want to dip under if possible...even though, OBVIOUSLY, the coin doesnt really help me if I dont spend it, crazy!)

How much? My lvl 10 only gets 74, which is fine by me but I'm curious why removing boosts doesn't remove the negative effect?

I'm not sure because it's with other dragons so I don't know how much he brings in ndividually sorry

Hey everyone! I have been lurking around for awhile now but I just registered to say I got my second moon with a cold dragon and a lightening dragon. I have been breeding storms working on the shrines. I put the dragons in the ultimate breeding cave so I don't know if that had anything to do with it.


Edit: I'm pretty shocked I got a moon dragon with just regular dragons and not with any hybrids.

The combinations I have seen on here are:
Firefly x Seaweed
Blazing x Crystal
Bluefire x Crystal

I haven't actually managed to get one myself - havent tried for a little while though - yet either but those are, apparently, successful combinations.

Hope they're lucky for you!

Have tried all these combos for some time thanks. Gave up on anything to do with crystal as I kept getting another crystal and it shut me down for 24 hours. Am currently on my 30 th try breeding firefly and seaweed with no luck but at least it is tallying up the plant and fire shrines, lol.
