Dragonvale Tips & Tricks! (NO Friend Requests!)

So I tried storm and reindeer. And I got 48 hours in my first try. What do u guys think I'm getting???? I would b happy with a moon or a rainbow.

Island 1 =
Water
Air

Island 2 =
Sun
Moon
Cold
Lightning

Island 3 =
Plant
Fire
Earth
Rainbow

Of course it also depends on what dragons you have in each habitat but I'm pretty sure that until recently (when I started keeping lots of random dragons; that I'd bred in pursuit of rares; for the shrines) I only had one dragon with a -/+ and that was my Ice (water x cold) dragon (- from the lightning boost). Now, I even could have overcome that by putting him in the water habitat instead but I couldnt bring myself to do it because it just seems like he should melt, or at least be very uncomfortable! hahaha :p

Many other people split them with one habitat type spread over different islands, like: I could have one of my cold habitats over with the water and air to overcome my Ice dragon issue but so far I like the ease and look of keeping them grouped.

I noticed something very strange this afternoon when a friend of mine and I compared our games: 16 of the 33 types of dragons (couldn't count sun and moon because they have not graced my islands with their appearance) have different coins/minute. 3 of mine were in the red, but overall I was only behind by 4 coins. When we included all the multiples, however, my 16 types of dragons surpassed my friend's.

Now I would really like to know how we can end up with different numbers under similar circumstances. How can my Crystal, for example, get +69 at lvl 10, and her's gets only +58? Both are in an earth habitat with the earth boost on the island, but no air or water boosts.

I have still had no better luck with either of my caves unfortunately. My habitats are fast filling up with random dragons but no rares to be seen :(
I REALLY hope something happens soon but I am not counting on it, heh

I only bought it for the xp but not really sure why I care about it anyways! lol it is big and bulky though.

Thanks! The one is the only one I had finished. Been working on my cold island a bit tonight. Not really happy with it but I'm tired of messing with it. I just need the 2nd moon habitat but that will have to wait a bit. My second island is my favorite. Just a little cluttered but I'm good with it. :)

:( I hope something happens for you soon too. It has to. It'll come soon..how many times do you try with a combo before you switch? I'm on try 19 with storm and sonic. One more try in the morning then I'm moving on to try mudd and storm I think. As soon as that 48 hrs is up I'll probably try that pair for the 4th time and see if it hits 48 hrs again.

Glad to hear you had a better night's rest! I'm headed that way soon.
 
I got the rare reindeer dragon by breeding bluefire and plant dragon. It worth alot!!! Now how I get the bone dragon?

That is really strange! I'm curious if anyone can figure it out....

I jut got mine and I don't have all the rare ones. Do they don't count those. Plus I got it after my reindeer and before the apparent I had all the dragons.... I find this extremely weird -.-

Oh that is weird...but is there a lightning boost on yours and not hers? Just wondering if yours is getting double positive? I mean, I dont even know if it's possible but it's the only thing I could think of off the top of my head.
 
Hey Ive been tryin firefly plus seaweed on my 2 breeding places 40+ times and still no rainbow any other suggestions to get rainbow? And does my epic breeding island improve ability to get rare dragons or is it jus another breeding option?
 
Well everyone, I'm back from my mini vacation!!...

Just want to give everyone an update, I have my plant, earth, fire, lightening, and cold shrines complete. Halfway done with water, but it's proving difficult with 500,000 per each water dragon. I have 4 that I am breeding them with but still, painfully slow (not as slow as my cold dragons -.-) but sooooo expensive haha.


How is everyone else doing? :)
