Hi folks, new to the forum and new to Dragonvale. I bred a lightning and cold dragon Friday night trying to make a storm dragon and when I threw them into the breeding cave to check the time it returned as a 2 day incubation. I thought storm took 5 hours to incubate and another 5 to hatch. Anyone have any insight as to why it's taking 2 days to incubate?

First of all welcome to the forum and congrats on you rare! It's probably either sun or moon but it could be a rainbow too. All three take 48 hrs to breed and incubate. :thumbs:

Just a reminder or for anyone that doesn't know you can work on 2 shrine's at one time and save food. Right now I'm working on plant/fire with plant/poison dragons. 30 min or 1 hr hatch times makes it fairly quick if you have the food saved up or can buy it quickly with coins. Keep this in mind for your other shrines too. Shortest breeding times and use those hybrids to kill 2 birds with one stone. Hope this helps anyone that doesn't know.

5 hr with cold + willow! Hope it's a reindeer!

I used cold + plant. I got it on my first try. It takes 10 hours total to breed and incubate. Good luck!

I'm still trying for my second moon. Mud and storm on my island = 24 hours. 2 seconds later, sonic and quake in the cave = 24 hours.
Grrr!
