Dragonvale Tips & Tricks! (NO Friend Requests!)

Something is weird with my friends list. I wanted to give a gem to someone but his name is greyed out now for two days so I can't gift him. makes no sense. I can gift aNother friend though. I tried quitting and restarting.

Anyway still trying for a sun and a second rainbow.

Try restarting your i-device completely then they again... Also what combo did you use for rainbow, and don't say seaweed and firefly, I've tried that too many times!!! Hahaha

Okidoki thanks, I'll give that combo a try again. Been trying Sonic and Storm and Mud and storm but no luck so far

YES!! Finally got another 48 in the Epic cave using Sonic (L) + Storm (R)! Hope it's a Moon this time, but I'll take another Sun too.

will,do. and sorry to say it was seaweed and firefly after many tries, but I could not get it to work twice.

well, I shut down the iPad and restarted, but it is still Breyer out.

Have finally finished redecorating my islands! Was trying to get all my dragons in the + and have so far only my storm and reindeer dragons in the - Am pretty happy with my layout. Check it out and let me know what you think.

Perhaps you can move your storm & reindeer to another habitat to get them in the +. I went through a similar redecorating phase and now have them all in +. Feel free to check it out. mjtyler

Ok, well if that didn't work, maybe IOC your willing to risk losing your data, delete the app and re install... Otherwise just check up on game center and see if its running properly

Oh man! This stupid...ugh! When I logged in to DV this morning it told me I had received gems. Started writing them down. It listed four ID's and then it said "and other's gave you gems"! If anyone else besides sissymom, twiz, jbobcat59 and michelin gabe me a gem please let me know. I think I am missing 1. This makes me furious as I am not one to get one without returning it. May take me awhile because my list is long but I do return them all. Ugh!!! Sorry for ranting. They should fix this little problem. Anyone else have this happen?

Oh, sorry to hear that! I only got my first 'double' name this morning...before that, it was always a single name per notification.
It's going to make things really difficult for you, and others, if that the way it keeps happening (and you are already more diligent and nice about returning gems than MANY people I've heard of/dealt with and now they wanna make it HARDER for you to do so?! *sigh*). You'd think they'd make it EASIER on people to gift gems (if not by raising the limit per day, then at least a better notification/record system!!!).
Hope it doesn't happen again!

Nope, never worked it out. Just cut my losses and started at 5. Now I'm at 26 or something like that.

I swear it switches evey now and then to different combos that we can get our rares with! Lol. Serious though...my current combo worked 3 times very quickly...now nothing...hmmm...

Yay! I love when I've finished reorganising/redocorating my islands and I sit back and look them over and they just make me so happy I'm sitting there smiling at the screen, hehe.

I just checked it out and am very impressed, as usual, with your neatness! Good job :thumbs:. I still cant get over how many small decorations you use (and therefore had to move around). I almost always have a slightly sore shoulder recently from all the DragonVale playing and reorganising I've done (I know, I know - I'm obviously doing something wrong if I'm injuring myself playing a game like this, haha) but I think it would be 10 x worse if I had all those flags and stuff to deal with, heh.
