The waiting is awful. I still have around 26 hrs to see what I habe breeding.

Argh, my crystal egg just hatched and I realized that I had just sent my lvl 10 crystal to the breeding island and now I have to wait 48 hours before I have to sell him for all the good work he's done for me producing a rare (hopefully sun) dragon. Poor crystal! And in the meantime that egg just sits in its nest instead of counting towards my cold shrine.

I suppose I could sell the level 11 crystal. Choices, choices!

2nd 48hr breed time in 3 days!! Epic breedingisland using sonic (L) and storm (R)! My last one was a sun, which i already have so fingers crossed for a moon!!

hey all just wanted to thank you guys for your help ; thanks to suggestions by shavemeshavers, 15donahun, brooklyn11220, GT500girl and the rest have managed to hatch all 3 rare dragons in a short space of time; cheers all and happy breeding =)

Hey, has anyone ever wondered what color the roofs of the huge treat farms are under all that snow? I can't remember the color of the little ones, but the windmills are silver.

Hope everyone has been having fun and breeding successfully!

I haven't had much time to get on here lately but just wanted to pop in to give you all an update:

Still no new rares for me, unfortunately. Currently trying Storm x Bluefire in my Epic and Scorch x Snow in my standard cave but no luck so far despite multiple tries

I did get up to 8 Reindeers by the time I gave up on Reindeer x Storm/Storm x Reindeer in my quest for a Moon, hehe. I think I only have 3 left in my park now though.

I've probably tried every combination I have ever seen mentioned here for a Moon and/or Rainbow but it seems my luck only helps others lately, hehe, but at least I'm helping someone right?!!!

My shrines are slowly getting up there and I think I am actually doing pretty well considering I am not really specifically working on then - just feeding up the random dragons I get in my quest for rares.

Again, hope you are all doing well (at least better than me, heh)!

My gosh. I still can't believe you got 8 reindeers! Lol. DV wanted to make sure you had that one lol. I also know from our text messages you finally have some good news coming....

IMO you are doing very well in your shrines. Keep it up even though it's not a goal right now. :thumbs:

Sometimes I swear the game can read your mind and acts like a rotten child. Try some reverse psychology, fake it out, and you will get your seaweed. I had a hard time getting this guy too (and tree or willow, I think). As soon as I stopped trying and bread for something else and then came back to it after a while I got it. Good luck...you will get your seaweed eventually

Hey all, got my 2nd 48hr today morning with Bluefire x Crystal.. I hope its a Rainbow.. Then, i will just need the Sun..
Have tried this combination for a lot of times before but failed to get a rare.. Atlast, got it today and that too in the normal breeding cave..
This has now given me some hope of getting the Sun as well.. So, breeding onnnnn..
Thanks for all your suggestions, friends..
What can be the best combination for Sun?? Will start with that before moving on to other tries..
And to add my current stats, almost done on my lightning shrine and also closer to finishing the cold one..
Will have to work on Water and also get to level 24 to get Air shrine as well..

Congrats! I'm not sure what the best combo is for sun. My one came from scorch and snow. Hoping my new one that is still breeding is a sun. Whatever it is it came from bone and storm. Your doing good on your shrines. Congrats! :thumbs:

Hey guys, my 48hr breeding time in the epic breeding cave did turn out to be a sun!! Yay! I'm soo happy. I just need to breed a rainbow now. But I do have 48 hours to wait until it hatches but I just thought I'd keep you guys updated because you're all so supportive

34hrs and counting! Im so hoping its a moon! Ill be a very happy little chappy if it... But the waiting is killing me!! Wish i hadnt used all my gems on speeding up incubations for my shrines!! Gah!!!

I just read through a whole weekend's worth of post. Lots of success stories :thumbs: and lots of frustration :thumbsdown:

I stuck to the same two combos all for the past few days: blue fire + storm in orig. cave and blue fire + crystal on the epic island. Finally, this morning my stubbornness was rewarded and my epic breeding island finally showed that it does indeed work. I'm still not sure calling it 'epic' is justified, but I will change my mind if it produces a sun for me. Or at least a rainbow. Pleeeease!
