Dragonvale Tips & Tricks! (NO Friend Requests!)

Dear DV-players,

I am still experimenting with the gemgiftbox.
Right now I have 11 gemreceiving candidates on the list.
When I went in I got 3 more. Thank you!

But what happened?
One of he 3 last givers - after me collecting gem - jumped/fell down the list, and is now nr 3 from the bottom.
When I use the giving from the bottom-method, this comrade gets his/her gems much earlier than other players.

I know - we Swedes are nr 1 when it comes to waiting in a line.
You can only go skiing in the alpes, to see another culture .... People who make their own rules. The Lawrence of he djungel ....

Of course everyone on my list, sooner or later gets a gem, but I don't understand the logic with those jumping names ....

And I do not want to go back to my advanced acount where I kept a record on gives and gets

Anybody else studying this phenomena ?

OMG finally got my first Electrum breeding in my cave!! Pepper number 2 is incubating. Guess I need to work on Ouro number 2 with my first and an Apoc. Hope everyone else is having good luck getting their dragons!

Hi, jonew10. Thanks for the suggestions. I went back to the game after posting the question & got the Epic Summer on the very next try. Maybe I should complain more often, lol! I have used the breeding sandbox before for other dragons and honestly didn't get any of the ones I was trying for. Your idea on increasing visitors is interesting. Will try that on some of the ones I am still having trouble with. Thanks again for your help!

Yes. The ouro is proving to be quite elusive. Tomorrow the peridot renters the market, and ill have to put the ouro on the side while I work on the peridots. I still haven't even tried for the pepper yet, and I only need one more jade egg. Hopefully I get one of them before tomorrow.

Oh no Diz... Have you tried not to re-breed the same combo but select them the old-fashioned way before we had the 're-try the same combo' button? I do not know why, but I have this sense that this re-breeding button does not work in your favour when it comes to enhancing your chances of getting the dagon you want.

I have used the retry button sense it came out. I have had plenty of luck with dragons I want. The ouro is the only one proving difficult for me.

For me it seems that the retry button leads to plenty of fails, while trying the old-fashioned way somehow gives me better chances of getting the dragon I want. I swap between the two options though.

No matter, it is always good to have different options to try. If nothing else, it might bring good tidings to Diz.. I sure hope it does, and percentage-wise she should get her boro-boro some day. I'm just hoping that day is near.
