All changes to breeding in DragonVale 2.0 are deliberate and are intended to move the game forward. While we understand that these changes are potentially frustrating, we hope you take the time to explore and fully experience DragonVale 2.0.

Please note that breeding Epic Dragons can still result in a clone of the parent dragons. The breeding cave and island now take into account all of the parent's elemental types and it is no longer a 100% clone guarantee.

Okay I guess my understanding of the new breeding rules are not so good. I tried autumn and spring from two different habitats and I got a three hour breeding time. I really want that second autumn so I can move in to the hunt for bronze treasure.. I'll just keep trying the regular way with basic hybrids and hopefully breed another autumn and then an egg. Then ill just need that bronze.. On another note, has antoje managed to complete the dark and light magic bars? I'm a little over three fourths of the way done! Hopefully I'm done after the magic is restored at the portal and the rewards are bigger when I collect from my habitats GCID: poncho.tinoco

The two season dragons I tried were from different habitats, so I'm wondering if what they mean by their rule on "from the same habitat" means any two dragons from the same kind of habitat can result in the odd breeding? So with the seasons dragons, I do have two habitats, but it will always result in this any combination as both habitats are the same. maybe they should clarify this statement as "any dragons from the same type of habitat"....

I'm disagree with backflip I feel this new breeding rule is a step backward and will likely drive people away from the game, people like me who are trying to catch up or are just starting are the ones it's messing with the most, now I feel I will never catch up. I would have at least liked a warning there are dragons that I have 2 of that I have been waiting to get the egg until I get other dragons I don't have

So in my understanding we still can get limited time dragons? Even if they are expired? As long as one or both parents are the same?

If any of you notice a goal for building an earth habitat and you want it gone, it appears to be a glitch. Another forum notes that you need to build a fire habitat to clear the goal.

As for these changes, I didn't know what I was doing half the time before the update....now I'm 80% lost.....but I did get to level up some dragons past level 10.....will it do any good? So far I'm still getting fails. No new dragons for me.

The only glitch I have is trying to give gems. Every time I click on the Friends tab, my game crashes. I hope this stops soon! 

Me too! I cannot get or gift any gems. My game crashes every single time I hit my social button!! Argh!

I feel your pain, I thought I would breed a few Blues and Leaps since we were blessed with the new habitats, but with such wild results, I brought back some hibernating Panlongs and Papers and am just random breeding ;-p with no expectations. Hope this phase passes soon!

You probably got Hail dragon, Bluemoon parents is Cold and Lightning, so you can get any dragon with combine Cold and Lightning elements... Storm, Hail, Sun, Moon or another *Bluemoon.

*Not sure about getting another Bluemoon coz it's already expired.

But who gives a ****. They will play on. They know the rules, the systems, the patterns, the breeding rules a s o
The only problem is, the play does not create much money.

Ok - then we give them a new totaly changed version, with also a lot of bling bling.
They wouldn't understand much, but we know they are addicted, and they will start to buy.
It's only a matter of time, until they wave with their credit Cards.
If we create enough caos, it will surely be the result ...

I'm getting very frustrated. My game has been crashing a lot since the update. It crashes before it starts and it crashes when I try to enter the social menu :'(


