Hi everyone, I am back from my holiday and trying to make sense of all the changes.

Thank you to you all for sharing what is going on and hopefully I will understand the new update one day. It was nice to come home to so many gems from my friends and from BFS for my gold shrines. Thank you.

I had been working hard feeding up my dragons to get the shrines rather than buying the upgrades and now they are worthless. Also I don't have enough to buy the new islands. The hunt now starts again for an opal and an autumn

Is your vote going for light or dark? I am putting my efforts on light for now.

New to the forum and just thought I'd say hello

I'm level 14 and had the seasonal habitat available for 750,000. Ever since the update it's disappeared!! Any ideas why! Was it just a limited time one?

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Seasonal Habitat is not limited. If it is greyed out it means you have reached the max habitat allowed at your level. You should sold one or wait till you level up to 15. You can see the max available habitat in the habitat market, at level14 you can only have 17 habitats.

I'm getting very frustrated. My game has been crashing a lot since the update. It crashes before it starts and it crashes when I try to enter the social menu :'(



My game also crash everytime i enter social menu, i could not stay over 3secs inside social menu, so what i do is enter social menu, gift the person at top of the list as fast as possible then exit social menu, so it's like this... enter, gift, gift, gift, exit, enter, gift, gift, gift, exit, enter, collect, collect, collect, exit, collect, collect, collect, exit. I can not visit friends.

Welcome back jonew. Dark all the way for me! And I agree with you on the shrines I have been slowly working on them and now they just seem useless. All my work for nothing, but I can live with it.

Sounds like you guys are having some bad experiences with this new update, I have had a few crashes but no where near what you all describe. I hope they get it fixed quickly for you guys.

Once upon a time there was a company, that was crowded with people who were really exited about creating an amusing and interesting play.
The people often sat with the caps back-flipped.
They were successfull in what they were doing, and people all around the world were happy.

Time went on. One day they were bought up by a larger company, who had resources to really develop this play.
They started to make two plans, now with help from one of the best management consultants.

They say:

First we give the old and incoming players a hell of a lot of dragons, some more welldone, some they will wonder a little about.
But who gives a ****. They will play on. They know the rules, the systems, the patterns, the breeding rules a s o
The only problem is, the play does not create much money.

Ok - then we give them a new totaly changed version, with also a lot of bling bling.
They wouldn't understand much, but we know they are addicted, and they will start to buy.
It's only a matter of time, until they wave with their credit Cards.
If we create enough caos, it will surely be the result ...

As a fellow dragonvaler who does a lot of displays with my eggs I completely agree with her 110%. The new rules are really bogus, and it makes me happy that I finished my main egg display. The two I am working on now require gem eggs, so I had just keep trying anyway. But my colosseum display still would not be finished if these new breeding rules were in effect. Even though I have gotten many epics in my year and a half on the game.

I believe you mean to say it's quite quiet. Quiet being another word for silent.

It's kind of a slang to unfair. You do very well with English. I have a much easier time understanding your long, well written posts as opposed to friends I have on my Facebook with English as a first language.

Thanks for the reply . The seasonal habitat isn't even greyed out, it's just literally disappeared! I finally had enough money, went to buy it and couldn't find it. Maybe it's some glitch with my game since the update. Kinds sucks

I used to be able to do it that way... Now, every time I hit the social button it crashes before I can even get or gift once!

If any of you notice a goal for building an earth habitat and you want it gone, it appears to be a glitch. Another forum notes that you need to build a fire habitat to clear the goal. 

I've got a goal for building an Earth habitat, but the icon next to it is clearly a large Air habitat.... Given the current chaos, I'm not surprised we would need a Fire habitat to get rid.....

Definitely time to enjoy the chaos... Seems there are some little s playing games with our beloved DragonVale.

I had the goal to build an earth habitat - so I did for 500 coins. I gained some magic, and gained 2 gems by posting on twitter and Facebook. The goal has cleared from my list and I have no other requests for habitats. Very strange.
