You might check for threads on styli on this forum. For me, the Dagi is a "nonstarter," and the Adonit has some problems---which, if solved, make it the front runner.

The iFaraday, at present, is the most dependable.

I'm using an Acase Capacitive stylus and I like it a lot.

The skipping problem with the Jot is easy to remedy: just grab a small tube of conductive contact lubricant at Radio Shack and put a small squirt in the swivel joint.
