This game is a dead end. I have reached level 50 and have made all but the last animal till champion level. Now my coins are dissappearing all the time, the expansion I have purchased for 1 mil. coins also dissappeared - only today I have lost around 3 mil. coins. Not to mention that I was not able to buy expansions at all until the last update was released. But, this is a zynga game, and all their games are the same - full of bugs, glitches, no one to help you out. All they care about is profit and taking your money (if they can not get a hold of your real money, they take the one you earn for playing their stupid games, lol). I have no intenion of spending a single dime on any of their games and I would suggest everyone to do the same, that would maybe forse them to start caring more about their customers and people who they have made addicts.
Some of the tips for you guys who have started playing Dream zoo, I had to learn from my own mistakes:
- don't waste your hearts on decorations, you will need a lot of them to breed animals
- have as many neighbors as possible, and don't forget to visit them every day (on 30th day you will get 200 hearts)
- when visiting a neighbor, help out their babies first (I have put my babies on top of my zoo, so that everyone who visits sees them first)
- you will need more and more money for breeding animals, so try to arrange your habitats in the way that you can move your animals around (I have left one space open and then I moved my ripe animals in a way that only the animal I am collecting from touches the decorations and in that way I can earn 10X more money).

Hi. Can someone tell me if "friends" and "neighbors" are the same? Each day I send gifts to all friends so just wondering if this was all my neighbors.If not, how can you invite other zoos to be friends without facebook or their zoo code? Also, why do neighbors zoos always show 0 hearts? After visiting them once there are never any more hearts? I tried shutting down & re-booting but no change.

I was afraid this game would be a dead end. Hope for updates to expand it. Sad to hear that coins start to disapear. Good tips.

Another tip to add is that if your short on hearts but have tons of coins you can go on a safari and find hearts. I usually go on the rhino safari for 600 coins since the plains safari is the cheapest and you can trade rhinos in for a couple hundred coins and experience points. Watch the coins and if you get close to what you spent even if you didn't get what you were looking for it helps to recoup costs.

As long as your patient there isn't any reason to spend real money on the game. That is unless you really want one of the decorations that you have to pay for.

Can anyone tell me what is wrong with my app Dream Zoo in that I cannot place anything because the "done" is grayed out. I always have to "cancel" and then I lose the animals I found on Safari.

Also, I lose babies, but have no idea how to get them back.

I have bought a 1.000.000 expansion today, after I went to visit a neighbor, the expansion was gone, together with all the coins. I have collected the coins again, and after every refresh or neighbor visit, bang - the coins are reduced for at least 500.000 again. Stupid zynga, I will quit this game, it is really frustrating.

Unfortunately I have to agree with Dimi. I wouldn't get too addicted to this game. I am also at the 50th level and the game is going nowhere... despite the recent update, it continues to crash and moves slowly when I try to go around collecting coins. I have not had the issue yet of losing coins but I intend to pay closer attention now.

Has anyone seen a chart or something that lists the top money-making animals? I want to add more animals, but only the ones that bring in the most zoola. It seems like the rhinos make the most -- does anyone know anything to the contrary?

elk, boar, tortoise, tigers and hippos all make 10000 plus if on their own with no decorations or paths around them. If you use the swap out method where you have an animal surrounded by land then a path and you swap each animal that has coins to collect into this area, the tortoise for instance goes from 10000 plus to 40000 plus.

I use the swap out method with all animals. My rhino's make just over $256000 each for each cycle when placed in my decorations area.
