The prospect of buying a refurbished Apple product appeals to you, but you are not sure which website or seller you should trust? Worried that you will end up with a damaged product? You shouldn’t anymore, as Cupertino has just opened the virtual gates to its official eBay refurbished store, a place where users can purchase certified refurbished products.
But wait, there’s more. Not only will you get the best refurbished collection online, but you might end up with a pretty big discount on products such as Macs, iPods or iPhones. The discounts go anywhere between $100 and $300, which means shoppers will be saving quite a lot – a good thing, especially with the holiday season coming up.
Apple stated that the Certified Refurbished label means that the product has undergone some testing before being reintroduced in the retail cycle. So in the possibility that some part would not work in device, Apple would replace it, plus adding a new battery. Only then will it send the device on its way over to the eBay store.
The eBay store has been named simply “Refurbished Outlet†and is the perfect place for shoppers on a limited budget who still crave being part of the Apple experience. So far it seems that only a US version of the store is geared up to take orders. Nevertheless a UK store exists, but no products have been added yet. It’s safe to assume that items will pop up on its virtual shelves in no time.
