Email account settings unaccessible

Hi

I have multiple email accounts on pc and iPhone and iPad

On iPad I see all the accounts in settings-mail but I am unable to alter them

All the accounts are greyed out

I need to be able to change some passwords etc

Have you completely shut down and rebooted your iPad lately? (hold sleep until the red slider appears)
 
You can see the accounts but they are greyed out?

Dumb question #1: Is your email account turned on?

Yes mail is on and yes i have rebooted

SOme of my mail accounts are working but some are not and need a password entered.

The account settings for all accounts are greyed out so I can't go back and enter the passwords

These are all synced with my PC and all work fine on the PC and Iphone

Fixed it!!!!

I had set restrictions !!!!!

Thanks! I spent 2 hours trying to figure this out, then found as you did that I had restricted myself! Your quick note was a lifesaver. Very frustrating that I couldn't figure out how to correct an incorrect password...
 
Same thing for me. I restricted myself. I thought I was just reconfiming my lock password and didn't realize I was locking down all those features! Thanks guys. When greyed out, check your restrictions :)
