email lost

the email was working fine until today! i tried to open it and it just shows a blank screen with the various icons grayed out. i checked the settings and they seem fine. have any ipad2 users experienced this annoyance?

Like any computer, an occasional restart or reset is a good idea. If you haven't done so recently, give it a try. It's fixed a lot of weird problems.


Restart: Hold down the power button until the power off slider appears. Slide it off. When the iPad finishes shutting down, hold down the power button again until the Apple logo appears.

Reset: Hold down the power and home buttons until the Apple logo appears. The iPad will reboot. This usually takes a bit longer than a restart.
