When I came here in the 60’s you had to fill out a form to buy alcohol, name, address, age, when was the last time you purchased, what did you purchase, what you want to purchase now. The store was bare except for the forms and the little desk thingies to fill them out. You gave the form to the guy and he went out back to get your order which he gave to you in a plain brown bag. Oh those were the days.

I've started my annual Xmas film pilgrimage. I've watched The Muppet Family Christmas
The Grinch
Jim Carrey A Christmas Carol
And tonight we watched Love Actually.
I loved the part where Hugh Grant's Prime Minister dances to Jump for your love by The Pointer Sisters.
I've bought some presents for my girls and hubby. 26 presents to go. I might put the rope lights up outside and the blue icicles next weekend. No time like the present.

Wow...Christmas! Seems like yesterday we were talking all about the holiday festivities! We have our Christmas tree brought up. We use to get real trees, but there's so much maintenance that is more hassle then it's worth.
We went to a store called Bronner's in Frankenmuth, Michigan where it's Christmas all year around. We bought several ornaments for this year including one that we had our names and the year painted on it. I'll post some pics in a second once I get onto the app. Anyways, I have a few gifts purchased that's all. Still have to put my thinking cap on for the teens!
Not very good pics, but the first is the entrance into Bronner's...
