I've been baking again. This one is a banana cake.

It's a bit pale, but fully baked. The texture of the dough is akin to a light shortbread.

Hahaha. I love eating too but it's showing so I'm back to the Zumba class this afternoon. Now I'm knackered and trying not to snack before tea.

Black bean chicken (the Chinese kind), vegetables and brown rice. Made by my husband, who's a durn good cook. For dessert, I'm going to dive into a vat of candy.
 
Chicken noodle soup is highly underrated. Add a sprig of parsley, a dollop of pear chutney, Ritz crackers and old cheddar on the side, finished with a splash of shiraz. Zounds! Chef Ramsey would weep.

Fresh cooked mud crab.Just cooled from the pot.
Served on newspaper overlooking the lagoon.
Fresh white bread and butter.
Made open sandwiches and just pigged out on the rest!............
No drinks hands too sticky and mucky.
Swim after to wash away the remnants........
 
Yum yum. We went out last night and I had a lovely peppercorn chicken with baked potatoes and veg. The peppercorn sauce was Devine. I finished off with profiteroles and chocolate sauce with extra cream. Yummy
