Well the Madeira cake is in the oven. I've tried extra lemon and some vanilla essence for taste. I'm enjoying cooking.

A steak and dark ale stew is in the slow cooker, courtesy of my dear wife.

The house smells great. :)

Steak and ale......I may just have to break out the Slow Cooker (crock pot).

Thanks Julie. Yes I'm really enjoying it. My wife, Flor(a), doesn't like cooking, but she does great S American dishes. So she enjoys my efforts.

I watched a great J Oliver 30 minute meal of ChickenPie with peas and wilted lettuce plus smashed carrots. It looks yummy. I need to copy the full recipe and will give it a try.:)

Jamie is an amazing chef.
His grasp of delicious everyday food is the best.
Let me know how it turns out.
I made chicken Milanese tonight.
Crumbed chicken breast pieces egg and panko crumbs.
Creamy mashed potato with a touch of butter and our local vanilla(small)
Garlic beans and a pour over sauce of fresh tomatoes and bacon
I'm feeing very full right now
