Ha ha ha ! Sounds like my hen night. Chocolate log(choccie bar) in yellow jelly. All in a pottie. Yeah, thanks guys. Really tasteful!

We had a great Chinese take away yesterday. Shop bought (M&S) and home heated.

I made the mashed carrot, and the peas with gem lettuce and salad onions dishes. We had these with new potatoes and chicken drumsticks. Delicious.

We've had to buy new baking gear, which is an advantage as the non-stick trays and tins are fab to use.

I've almost completed stocking up on nuts, fruit and other ingredients. Oat flapjacks are the next project, then carrot cake slices.

Quick question. Is it OK to use porridge oats instead of rolled oats in the recipes? Does the use of porridge oats detract from the taste and texture? :)

The other night I made some pizza . 2 steak and 1 veg . I don't eat meat and my father thinks I am weird . I cook with meat a lot but I just don't eat it!
 
We are mid-baking session.

I had to dust the cake to hide it's well tanned top. Cake sank a bit, but will taste nice ;)

The 2nd batch of oat cookies is in the oven. I hope they are OK.
