What's new

Food anyone?

We had baked potatoes last night.

Not sure about tonight.

I do know we're going to smoke another Boston Butt Saturday and have friends over for pulled pork that night.

Don't know about you but I'm having sweet chilli beef noodles tonight, thanks be to waitrose online shopping!

Bob, I can't help bursting out laughing at your meal names and quotes! Pulled pork! No, not going there!

Nothing quite like prepared meals, so easy, so quick. That sounds nice!

Still gotta fry the beef and the noodles, they give you a pre-mixed sauce to add in at the end.......it's a kind of halfway house!

I'm sure you can handle that. If I can, you definitely can. I can handle the good old fashioned stuff but I don't do the fiddly things. Hubby does the roast, fry up etc...

I have a lovely old piano which needs doing but people are saying it would cost £1000 + to tune it so it will have to stay an antique in the corner! Pity though!

Pulled pork is simply when you pull the meat apart and eat it as is or on a bun. Looks like shredded meat. Gives you more surface area to taste.

I thought so but when you work with male teachers and hormonal teenagers, your mind does funny things. Have you ever tried boerewors( a loop of sausage) or biltong ( similar to your jerky but pure dried meat) These are South African!

rather expensive body filler, silly! I love the stuff and my brother used to bring large pieces of it from South Africa but with all the airport restrictions, I have to find it nearer to home.

Archangel, so delighted you have joined us again, welcome back, and wish all is good for you healthwise. Check page 14 of this topic, i posted pictures on your behalf but you dissapeared then. Anyways had a few cup cakes, cookies and sausages after work so not hungry at all

Sent from my iPad using iPF, using iOS 4.3.2

newbie here - what is your favorite recipe keeper app? I have Yummy Soup on my MacBook, but would like something here on my ipad 1. TIA

I use Evernote to keep my recipes in.

With it I can pull up my recipes on my laptop, iPad, or Android phone anywhere I am.

Comes in handy in the grocery store. Just pull up a recipe on my phone and I can shop for what ingredients I need.
