What other northern delicacies do you like?

Shepherds pie, bangers & Mash (oh I do love mash), haggis, black pudding. Favourite food type is indian though with Italian in second place. I do love the classy delicacies but nothing beats good old fashion cheap earthy grub.

Good clotted cream for the morning Joe is all I ask. That and really great Lox and other smoked fish. Perhaps a little Moose or Elk and Venison is nice, too.

I live in Utah where our state foods are lime Jello, Fry Sauce, and Seagulls.

Wow. That sounds varied and odd. I am adventurous with food but had not had the pleasure of lox,moose or elk. Love Venison.

Just kidding about the Seagulls. Those foul and insufferable flying garbage cans are our beloved state birds.

As for Lox, it is smoked salmon. Elk and moose are quite good, I suggest you give it a go.

Where's my recipe Shahinul. I'm on my own again. They all went shopping. I hate that! Yes, I know, us females are supposed to love it, but I'm not normal! I was born a tomboy so handbags, makeup, fashionable clothes with labels are boring! I do it if I have to. I'm hoping they bring something back like chicken tikka Marsala my favourite!

My girls probably are! I'm just interested in what's for dinner and my allergy tablets. Essentials only. I bought 3 pairs of the same shoes of different colours, over a period of time of course, but because they were comfortable. Getting old, I expect, high heels, forget it! Agony makers, I call them.

I'm having chicken tikka Marsala for tea, a bit too late for me but I'm hungry enough to overlook this. Prawn crackers for starters but I'm all for changing what you should eat with what. I put apple sauce with my roast beef and mint sauce with pork. As I've said before, you gotta try it before you criticise.
