Oh, Gabe...you are missing out. Phyllo is so versatile and food completely different when you use it. It is layers of thin dough. If you ever had spinach pie...the layers are from phyllo...at least that is how we make it.

I'm sure you'd love hers, I've tried quite a few over the years. I prefer galaktoboureko....that's the custard roll or slice.

Don't mind loukoumathes (honey puffs) when they're just cooked, sprinkled with icing sugar.
