Food anyone?

I was at my mom and day's visiting for lunch and she made a bittermelon stir fry with Chinese barbecue ribs and jasmine rice. Oh, was so delicious and especially good when eating mom's home cooked meals!

Leelai, is pavlova a dessert?

Yes a pavlova is a great summer dessert......the shell is meringue on the outside, hard to describe what the inside is like but its very light filled with cream and fresh fruit
This is another one I made and someone else asked what it was.

That's looks delicious, Leelai. I'm feeling hungry now. :)

EDIT. I'm retrying my edit as last time it wouldn't load onto iPF. OK.

We don't like Gordon Ramsay, so haven't watched his new cookery series with him solo - so no tantrums or swearing. However, last night my wife called me in to watch GR cooking egg dishes. Fabulous recipes and quick meals. His pancakes looked divine. I think we may have some catch up viewing. :)

Sent from my iPad 1 using iPF - Greetings

Oh so you do have Pavlova over there in the UK

must just be our friends in the US who don't know what it is.

I can't wait to have a piece and I made a baked passionfruit cheesecake too!

Both are my favourites!

Leelai--that looks beautiful!! Must have taken you some time to get this made!

To me, this looks like a cross between a fruit tart and a cheesecake! All the same, I could certainly eat a slice...or two!! :)

They are very easy to make and cook for an hour, but you leave it in the oven until it's cold otherwise it flops. Best served straight after you add the cream and fruit, I'd say it's unlike anything you have ever eaten before........

I'll save you a slice, or 2 ;)
