What's new

Food anyone?

I love the kind with the garlic spread on it. I could eat it FOREVER! :)

The bakery in the store I work in gets the garlic spread in 5 gallon buckets. They also get jalapeño garlic spread.

Have you discovered any new flavours of Doritos during your odyssey?

Not yet. I'm eating my way locally -- trying to maximize on things I couldn't get elsewhere. So far the highlights have included barbecued ribs of four types, street kiosk tacos cooked by new Mexican immigrants, handmade biscotti in six flavors (pepper flavor was tasty and different), three types of cheesecake, and a yummy and new type of Mediterranean salad.

Your strategy sounds good, Kay.

A great pleasure from travelling is to eat the local dishes. Discovering a country's foods is, IMHO, a vital way of learning about and enjoying where you are. Be adventurous within reason. Life is for living :)
