Butter is better.... I've been using it for years instead of margarine.

I don't know if I've ever eaten margarine. I wouldn't buy it, so it would have to be served in prepared food, unbeknownst to me.

I don't trust "replacement" foods. If I want sweets, I have sugar, not sugar substitute, or do without. I don't buy diet or "light" products, either.

Just finishing making Cabbage/Veggie soup on the stove. Just simmering for another 30 minutes to get the lentils to soften up and then it's lunch time!

Oh...and the butter. I still buy butter and use it for baking and cooking. Margarine is not good for that.

A campaign is being rolled out in the UK under the banner of Enough Food For Everyone. All you need to do is Google IF.

I haven't looked too far into the site yet, so don't know the international status of the campaign. 130 charities and organisations are involved.

Made some stuffed croissants. Some with caramelized onions, sautéed, chopped mushrooms, spinach and cheese. Some with ham and cheese, and some with leftover stir fry and cheese. Yummy.
