What's new

Food anyone?

Speaking of iPF field trips... I had this question on my mind for the longest time.
I saw in some thread (I think it was the new member thread or something) an admin posted a pic of the "Super Moderator convention." It said the photo had been deleted or moved. I'm curious, was this an iPF convention, and were any of you mods there? :)
I know we're seriously off topic here, so lets get back to food :)

Does beer count? Presently enjoying a(nother) bottle of Original 16, which I'm informed comes from Saskatchewan. Tastes pretty good. I even got a free toque with the purchase.

Dinner tonight is spaghetti with a basil tomato sauce that my husband made with chicken sauce (that sounds weird to me). Broccoli loaded with garlic. In the spirit of Kevin, I'll have a beer with that.

Made a Sandwich Cake.

Great with icy beer, coffee, tea, or milk.

I'm sure it tastes as good as it looks! I've never seen a cake with what looks like a salad on top, I'm sure it makes for a unique taste.

It's a savory cake made with slices of fresh bread, (crust removed) maker's chose of meats (ham, roast beef, steak, fish, etc.,) mayonnaise with chopped kosher pickles, spices, herbs, etc., etc., and love.

-This was made with ham.

This is an old fashioned Finnish meal that was delicious and very impressive when served. You may still see it served in the home of a wealthy oldtyme rancher or farmer, but very, very rarely in regular homes. Maybe because it's very labour intensive.

You can see the several layers here.

That's impressive. Nice job.

Cutting up my potatoes, red peppers, parsley to make Clam Chowder.

Need to fry up the Bacon first--just can't find it in the fridge...I know I bought a package!!

Just had a great bowl of Chili that my husband made us for dinner! Now having some green tea and a small piece of chocolate coated toffee for dessert!
