What's new

Food anyone?

It's a little shop in Ilfracombe, North Devon on the harbour front called Roly Poly fudge shop. It's tiny but the smell, oh my god, to die for! There is a huge copper bowl with fudge being made right inside the shop. all flavours. I love the nutty ones and hubby likes the rum and raisin.
How are the kids Tim? Heather started her college AS levels this week and is loving it. It's a long day as the bus takes an hour to an hour and a half to get there and then back. 8am-6pm. Long day, for her, anyway! Unfortunately her mummy has to drive her to the bus stop and go to work an hour earlier than her colleagues. Woe is me! I suppose I have more lesson planning time now though!

I have a pest control business and produce company. One of our bestsellers is my Rabbit in Cider and Red Wine Casserole. And also our Venison in Ale Pie, which is Venison cooked in a rich onion gravy, topped with a cheese and pepper mash with a puff pastry topping.

Ha ha , you guys are so funny! I got rats? On second thoughts, no, I wouldn't put those gross critters anywhere near my mouth.

I've seen old recipes for rats.........not a chance I'd try one though!!

My main pest control is Rabbits, Rats, Moles, Squirrels and Wood Pigeon.......the first and last two are quite edible, I can't catch enough squirrels to keep up demand during the summer BBQ period!

Remember, all meat is edible........it's all down to personal taste!
