From ipad to tv thru Haier device is jerky...why?

I bought some videos and trying to play them from my ipad to the tv using a Haier device. Does anyone have an idea what my problem could be?

PS they do play but they are jerky and slow

What is a Haier device? Please describe what it does/looks like, maybe post a picture.

So the video is already on your IPad? What app are you using to play it?

I did some looking and Haier is an electronics manufacturer with many products, including some that can stream video to a TV. If you could tell us which model device you have someone may be better able to help.

Is this what you have?

From reading the description on the website, the video out to your TV is through an HDMI cable. Have you tried using another cable to see if that's what's causing your problem?

One more question, are these videos downloaded to your iPad or are you streaming them from somewhere? If so, maybe there isn't enough bandwidth to properly stream the videos.
