What's new

Gardening!

Spring is really here. The daffs are almost gone. The shade ephemerals,Epimidium, mertensia, dicentra, pulmonaria and brunnera, are allblooming. Only have one or two of each but they make me so happy.

Yes, it really is Spring. I've got some daffs in a vase in my lounge. I love all the daisies in the grass. So pretty. It's my favourite time of the year.

Tell me about it!!! We have a very windy night, I do hope my fruit trees produce more crop this year. Lousy rain last year.

Signs of spring in our garden.

We are getting very strong gusts of wind which makes me wonder how long the magnolia blooms will last when out.

I just love reading the joyful reactions of you guys to the spring that is starting to come in apparently so quickly. Especially, it seemed to me, after a particularly harsh, snowy winter. And I envy you your green thumbs!

Your garden is looking terrific Richard. And those pale new leaves on the trees signal Spring is here at last for sure. Now I'm looking at that small stack of circular paving stones, and still trying to guess what you are up to there. I'm guessing a water feature of some sort? LOL.

That's a lovely coloured Magnolia you have there, Richard! Ours isn't quite there yet. Ours is a paler version. Our bluebells are growing well. Can't wait for them to come out. The forsythias are beautiful around here.
