Gardening!

tbh, I'd rather it be pouring it down, dying of hay fever :( blood shot itchy red eyes, water pouring from like a shower :======(

I feel the same way, the rain is such a welcome during such hayfever times, i suffer from it very badly. I can finish a box of tissue box in no time like they are running out of fashion. Found this thread just now and what beautiful garden, really nice. Hayles, i could not find the pet thread yet, but found this one. I will take pictures of my garden tomorow and post it, its dark now

Very nice, its good your pets found a good loving home, i get so depressed when i visit animal shelters where various dogs, cats, rabbits are eager to find a decent home :( any way here are some pictures i took today of my garden, as you can see it needs lots of tlc and maintenance, i have neither the time nor the energy to do it lol. The last pictures are from upstairs

Your garden looks really well established. Love the wooden summerhouse/ shed. We have one but it is surrounded by pallets at the moment so not looking good at the moment, will send some further into the summer.

Thanks, the shed is full of junk and needs to be overhauled, although sumertime it can be used, theere is power line for tv, fan etc. But too full now and no space. The wooden bench is a joke, it is there for show, someone who wants to sit on it better have accident insurance with bupa lol :)

Miss danger, that is a great idea, however we get foxes every night on this garden :( next time i see one on daytime i will take a pic. I saw one fox this morning, should have taken a pic then

Okay guys! I know some of you have gardens, get off those iPads for once and tell me what you have, how big, what type of garden it is etc... Some of you must have one. Please?

We have about two hundred sq ft of garden, front yard and back yard combined, and if the weather's good I like to set aside time on weekends to get out in the dirt and plant stuff and making things grow (although sometimes it seems like 80% of 'gardening' is removing weeds.)

Just this past weekend I planted a new bed of daffodils and two new pots of Chinese star jasmine. We have a good mix of different plant types, including an orange tree, a lime tree, acacia trees, at least twenty species of succulents, mondo grass, a herb bed with thyme, rosemary, pandan leaf, lemongrass, strawberries, and creepers like Chinese jasmine and wisteria for posts and fences.

Wisteria

My wisteria has loads of flowers on it at the moment. Everything needed watering tonight. No rain again. Vegetables doing well and the apples are showing now. I'll soon have strawberries.

Where is Ayrshire? How is your garden growing? Williebye? I just had our road resurfaced and the dust coming off of that is awful. Garden looks all powdered. Just need rain to clear it. I have roses! Lovely yellow Scentimental and peach ones, can't remember the name of that one! How is the app? I'm filling my garden planner hd app up nicely.

Well I am in limbo right now. Were away on vacation for 10 days. Hopefully it'll be a little dryer when we get home.
