Recently I opened Safari and Google looks weird .... sort of like a 'mobile' version ....

I rebooted and it fixed but now it wont ... everytime I open Safari it looks this way .... only thing I have done differenly lately is update ios ..

I have a screenshot on my ipad but don't know how to attach it here

Any help much appreciated

Cheers

There are numerous comments and polls about this in the Forum. In Safari there is no way to fix it - Safari identifies itself as a mobile browser and Google have updated their results screen for mobile devices. I don't like the new interface at all and I've switched from Safari to iCab because it can identify itself as a PC browser if you want to and then you get the traditional Google results screen.

But, on Safari, unless Google change their mind, you're stuck with the dreadful new results screen.

Sall good ...

I am now using Diiggo .... a Chrome analog. It used to be called IChromy, someone mentioned that it had ads because it is free, but there are none in the version I downloaded.

It is like iCab in that you can 'identify' it as another type of browser. I used Mac OS X Safari 5

Works great looks good ... I happy :]
