Hello, I'm new to everything iPad!

Hi everyone!

I've just today ordered my first iPad, the Mini. I thought I would start small, with a modest spec, and see if I like it.

At first, I'll mainly be using it for Twitter, email, as a personal organiser, for reading, and for making notes and doing research for my writing. But I'm I'm sure it won't be long before I'm exploring apps.

This looks like a fantastic source of advice for the Apple/iPad beginner.

There is lots of good advice and info on here plus plenty of members all too willing to help with any problems.

Remember, search is your friend. If you can't find the answer you need and you post a question then give as much info as you can to help members help you i.e. iPad 1 or 2, etc. and iOS version and name of app if the problem is with a specific app........and please don't forget to read the forum rules http://www.ipadforums.net/forum-rules-help-info/2119-forum-rules-everybody-please-read.html

Thanks ever so much for the welcome, everyone. My Mini doesn't actually arrive until the 19th, although I'm fantasising that it might actually come sooner. At the moment, I'm trying to learn as much as I can about iPads and the operating system, so I'll be able to put the Mini to good use as soon as I get my paws on it. Many thanks for those helpful links, Gabriel. I'm new to all things Apple, really [apart from one geriatric iPod] so they'll be invaluable.
